February 1904 The Company launches its chemical sales business as the Hayashi Matakichi Store at Doshomachi in Higashi-ku (currently Chuo-ku), Osaka.
April 1932 The privately-run Hayashi Matakichi Store is incorporated.
The Hayashi Matakichi Store is renamed Hayashi Chemical Retail Co., Ltd.
August 1950 A new manufacturing plant (the former Joto Plant) is established in Higashinakahama, Joto-ku, Osaka.
October 1952 Hayashi Chemical Retail Co., Ltd. is renamed Hayashi Pure Chemical Ind., Ltd.
February 1965 The Head Office is relocated to 2-2 Doshomachi Higashi-ku (currently Chuo-ku), Osaka.
September 1971 The Tokyo Sales Office is opened in Nihonbashihongokucho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
(It is later relocated to Nihonbashihoncho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.)
October 1983 The Kyushu Sales Office is opened in Hikino, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka.
(It is later relocated to Ushizucho, Ogi-shi, Saga.)
April 1984 The Saga Sales Office is opened in Takucho, Taku-shi, Saga.
(It is later relocated to Ushizucho, Ogi-shi, Saga.)
April 1985 The Electronic Materials Department is launched.
The Company begins manufacturing chemicals for the electronics industry.
March 1990 The Saga Plant is completed in Ushizu Industrial Park in Ogi-gun
(currently Ogi-shi), Saga.
July 1995 The Mie Plant is completed in Taki-cho, Taki-gun, Mie.
March 1997 The Head Office is relocated to 3-2-12 Uchihiranomachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
August 1998 The Mie Plant acquires ISO 9002 certification.
October 1999 The Saga Plant acquires ISO 9002 certification.
April 2001 The Tottori Plant is completed in Ketaka-cho, Ketaka-gun (now Tottori-shi), Tottori.
March 2002 HPC acquires ISO 14001 certification.
August 2002 The Nara Office is completed in Nukatabe-Kitamachi, Yamatokoriyama-shi, Nara.
April 2004 The Mie Sales Office is opened in Taki-cho, Taki-gun, Mie.
August 2004 HPC acquires ISO 9001 certification.
June 2005 The Techno Center is opened in Taki-cho, Taki-gun, Mie.
May 2011 The Logistics Center is opened in Nishiawaji, Higashiyodogawa-ku, Osaka.
March 2019 Reagent Direct, an online reagent sales site, begins operation.
